Install and configure personal computers and peripherals to work with networks and applications. Provides end-user technical support and training in-person, by phone, and by email. Maintains security over programs and data files. Maintains shared on-call status via phone on a rotating schedule. Works with various user departments to gather and provide information, explanations, or technology advice concerning projects. Assists in maintaining personal computer software and hardware inventories. Occasional travel to remote locations is required. Creates and maintains user and system documentation. Makes recommendations and assists with implementing ways to improve productivity and efficiency of business processes. Reviews literature and other resources to keep informed of new software/hardware products and technological advances.

Columbia, Missouri
Two-year technical degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least one year of experience in one or more of the following: the operation and maintenance of personal computers, printers, and peripherals; the operation of a helpdesk; the operation and maintenance of computer equipment; the operation, maintenance, and administration of software or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have transportation and a valid Missouri driver's license. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
$18.95 - $22.23 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
