Responsibilities:

Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors and issues, documenting problems and resolutions and provide technical assistance to systems support team as a primary resource on assigned systems. Plan, recommend and implement new systems and upgrades in line with county projects and priorities. Perform regular backup operations on assigned systems and implement appropriate policies and procedures regarding data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures. Support multiuser computer environments to ensure continuous, optimal performance of IT services and assigned systems.

Status: 

Full-time, exempt, benefited

Working hours: 

Primarily Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Hybrid workplace options available.

Location:

Columbia, Missouri

Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED and 1-5 years of computer systems or network maintenance. Current CompTIA Server+ or ability to obtain certification within 12 months. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.

Salary Range: 

$58,531 - $96,928. Salary commensurate with experience
