PERSONAL PROPERTY SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide information according to office policies; perform data entry of personal property tax files for individuals; access data systems to determine valuation of taxable personal property; research and provide information on personal property taxation, ownership, and real estate values to the public; provides information to banks and lenders; and other related duties as assigned.

Status: 

Full Time, benefited, non-exempt

Working hours: 

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Location:

Columbia, Missouri

Qualifications: 

High School diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience; prefer previous experience with Microsoft Word; must have the ability to handle multi-task work with frequent interruptions, possess math and computer skills and excellent customer service skills; and be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate: 

$14.82 - $15.75
