Boone County Government Offices Closed Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, 2024
COLUMBIA, Mo. (July 1, 2024) –The Boone County Commission has just announced that Boone County Government offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, 2024, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The Boone County Courthouse will also be closed both days.
Earlier today, the Missouri Office of Administration declared July 5, 2024, an Official State Holiday. According to Commission Order 480-2020 from October 22, 2020, Boone County honors all Official State Holidays. Accordingly, both Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, 2024, will be holidays for Boone County employees in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
