Local Women Leaders to Discuss Missouri Politics Tuesday, July 26, 2022
July 25, 2022 – The Unnamed Committee in Boone County for Open Minds in Politics, in cooperation with Stephens College, will present “Show Me Missouri Women in Politics” Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 7 p.m. on the Stephens College campus.
The event, held in Windsor Auditorium at 1405 E. Broadway in Helis Communication Center, is free and open to the public. People also may view the event live streamed via YouTube and submit questions via the live chat function at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPMwnZZIlFE.
The panel discussion will feature Mary Ann McCollum, Columbia’s first female mayor; former Missouri Rep. Vicki Riback Wilson; Missouri Rep. Cheri Toalson Reisch; Janet Thompson, Boone County District II Commissioner; and Shamon Jones, candidate for Boone County Recorder of Deeds. Stephens College President Dr. Dianne Lynch will moderate the discussion.
