Most Boone County Offices and Departments Closing at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 Due to Inclement Weather
January 11, 2018—Due to the potential for inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions, most Boone County Government offices and departments will be closing at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018. The Commission meeting originally scheduled at 1:30PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018 has been canceled.
The Boone County Clerk’s Office will remain open for candidates wishing to file for the Boone Hospital Board of Trustees and Centralia Special Road District. The Boone County Courthouse, including the Circuit Clerk’s Office and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, will also remain open with minimal staffing so as to allow for provision of the most essential of services. Staff providing essential services at Boone County Public Works, Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Boone County Joint Communications and Boone County Office of Emergency Management will also remain on duty.
Boone County Government offices and departments anticipate reopening on Friday, January 12, 2018.
