Boone County Resource Management collecting information for inclusion on registry
January 4, 2012
Boone County is now collecting information from companies and individuals that wish to be included on the Boone County Registry of Consultants for Architectural, Engineering and Land Surveying Services.
Until January 31, 2012, companies and individuals can submit a statement of qualification to Boone County Resource Management to be included on the Registry. General Consultant Services Agreements will be generated for those companies and individuals who have submitted all requested information by the deadline. The Statement of Qualification must include:
- Basic biographical information about the firm.
- Resume of each professional in the firm.
- Evidence of professional registration or licensing with the State of Missouri.
- Work history, highlighting work for government agencies within the last 2 years.
- Subcontractors normally retained by consultant.
- List of completed & pending projects.
- Evidence of insurance coverage & amount maintained.
- Description of internal quality control and assurance procedures.
The General Consultant Services Agreement allows the company or individual to be listed on the Boone County Registry of Consultants for Architectural, Engineering and Land Surveying Services. Any department within Boone County in need of the aforementioned services has access to this registry, which they then use to determine companies and individuals from which they may solicit proposals for their specific project.
Companies or individuals wishing to be included in the Boone County Registry of Consultants for Architectural, Engineering and Land Surveying Services must submit all information to Boone County Resource Management at 801 East Walnut, Room 315, Columbia, MO 65201 by January 31, 2012. Questions or concerns may be directed to Kelle Westcott at KWestcott@BooneCountyMO.org or (573)886-4480.
Boone County Resource Management is located on the third floor of Boone County Government Center at 801 E. Walnut in Columbia, MO. This department was developed in January of 2011 in response to a growing need to combine the Planning & Building Department with the Design & Construction Department. Resource Management brings together in one department the engineering, planning and inspection services provided by Boone County. These services relate to such things as road construction and inspection, engineering, building inspections, subdivision requirements, zoning and stormwater. Resource Management also issues permits including building permits, driveway permits and even onsite wastewater permits.
