Things you may have missed...

Boone County will be conducting road work at several locations next week, including:

• On Wednesday, Aug. 10, Richland Road in Columbia will be closed 500 feet west of Olivett Road between 6840 and 7100 Richland Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for culvert replacement. Motorists should seek alternate routes and expect delays.
• In Pinebrook Subdivision, work replacing sections of concrete began on Wednesday, Aug. 3 and will continue through Thursday, Sept. 1. Streets affected include: Brookview Court; Brookview Terrace; and S. Pinebrook Drive. Roads will remain open; however, traffic will be restricted to one lane, and motorists should expect delays.
