Community Partnership
Responding to an emergency is a community effort. Every citizen of Boone County can make a difference in assisting their fellow citizens and first responders in an emergency situation. To ensure you are well prepared and informed on how best to respond to an emergency, Boone County offers community Emergency Management training & exercises that involve both first responders and you, the citizens.
Boone County has partnered with local emergency responders from across the County to plan and implement the new Boone County Emergency Communications Center (ECC). The ECC houses critical emergency management and dispatch functions, centralizing emergency communications and management of emergency situations throughout the County, bolstering community support and involvement.
