1. I received a ticket for failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance) and I have insurance. What do I need to do?

   You may mail or fax proof of your insurance to the attention of the Traffic Division of the Boone County Prosecutor’s office. Your fax should include your agent's name and telephone number, a copy of your ticket (or the ticket number), and a telephone number where you can be reached.

2. Can I fax in my proof of insurance?

   Yes. You may fax proof of your insurance to the attention of the Traffic Division of the Boone County Prosecutor’s office at (573) 886-4148 Attention: TRAFFIC. Your fax should include your agent’s name and telephone number, a copy of your ticket (or the ticket number), and a telephone number where you may be reached.

3. When is my court date?

   Missouri Case.Net is the official site for the courts. You may search either by name or case number (ticket number). Upon locating your case through a name or case number search, go to docket entries to search for the court date.

4. What is my fine?

   For tickets having a court date for appearance contact the Traffic Division of the Boone County Circuit Clerk at (573) 886-4027.

   For tickets with 30 days or FCC indicated in the court date field contact the Fine Collection Center at (877) 866-3926.

5. Can I pay out of court?

   For tickets having a court date for appearance contact the Traffic Division of the Boone County Circuit Clerk at (573) 886-4027.

   For tickets with 30 days or FCC indicated in the court date field contact the Fine Collection Center at (877) 866-3926.

6. Is my ticket for state court or city court?

   Find the field identified as "Location" on your ticket.

   If this field contains FCC, your ticket has been forwarded to the Fine Collection Center. All communication and documentation should be directed to them. They may be contacted at (877) 866-3926.

   If this field contains 600 E. Broadway, your ticket has been forwarded to the City of Columbia Prosecutor, 600 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri 65201. They may be contacted at (573) 874-7229.

   If this field contains 705 E. Walnut, Courthouse, your ticket has been forwarded to the Boone County Prosecutor’s office. Contact our Traffic Division at (573) 886-4122 or (573) 886-4100.
