After the second round of interviews, the Commission will make their final selection.

County Provides Stormwater Training

Boone County Stormwater staff conducted a stormwater workshop for engineers on Wednesday. Fourteen engineers representing five local firms attended the meeting. The workshop covered the stormwater ordinance and the new design manual. Engineers that attended also received instructions on required meetings and plan submittals. Boone County Public Works Interim Director Derin Campbell stated that the goal was to produce a user-friendly manual that provided guidance but allowed for design flexibility. The County also provided the engineers with worksheets to assist in preparing stormwater plans.
