Conditional Use Permits are for land uses that are allowed in a zoning district but some aspect of the use is such that it warrants review and public comment.  There are 7 criteria that must be met in order to be approved for a conditional use permit. Please see zoning regulations, section 15 for further information.

 

Conditional Use Permits are heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission on the 3rd Thursday of the month except in January. The Planning and Zoning Commission makes a recommendation to the County Commission to either approve or deny the request.
